I mostly know the man named Paul — formerly Saul a whole new life ago — by his arguments. The way he reasons brought me along with him, past some weird baggage of my own, beyond the years that separate us.
But Paul, using his own hand to write for a time, shared a bit more with those who saw the original letter. Writing himself displayed a bit more, perhaps, of who he was and some of what he’d been through.
A blog, even one tended regularly, does not reveal penmanship. But good ones make consistent arguments, both logically and within their own canon. The reasoning behind a coherent blog post can be known.
